I got this for the scissors, which are fantastic - really solid look and feel, good feel and weight in your hand. I don’t expect to have to buy another pair EVER. But then the littler knife is now one of my favorites. It is the perfect size for prepping fruit and veggies before I start chopping with a larger chef’s knife.

Not as high caliber quality as my original set from 25 years ago. My original pairing knives had walking feet from a dinner party so wanted to replace. The kitchen shears had taken abuse over the years so figured boon with shears being included. Pairing knives are light and thin and the steel feels like it will bend easily. The edges are sharp and cut paper but...not much steel to go a 1/4 century for sharpening...i opted for the sale price line...should have waited and perhaps gotten the higher priced versions
