Works well

I thought I had a review on this. Guess not, had to look my order up so I can get more filters. I can say after 2.5 years this unit has worked well. Cooking hair pair candle ordors you name it it zaps the oder out. Keep the house fresh clean smelling.,I have this in a second home where I can not install what I like as there no central ac (we use ductless mini splits) and this product does what my 600+ unit does at other home . I've been impressed with the unit allbe the filters are high but the unit has performed well. If you understand air quality and filtration with plasma this is the best bank for the buck I run ,y 24/7,on fan speed 2 so it can purifiy the air . I like the fact that it give you percentage of air . I by another if this failed

Great for Small Particulates - Not Great for Dust

I've owned this air purifier for 18 months and I'm mixed on it's performance. It does a great job getting smoke and other fine particulates out of the air from cooking and other sources. In fact it does a stellar job in that area! The air purifier is quiet except on it's highest speed. It is a PM 2.5 particulate meter which is great for telling you how much smoke and other fine particulates you have in your air. This air purifier cranks up anytime it gets smoky in the house and soon the air is pure...Well sort of. Where it falls terribly short is getting dust particles out of the air. It simply does not pull dust out of the air like other HEPA filter products. I have a big dog, so it's not like I have a shortage of dust. Regardless, it seems the air filter never gets dirty. A year later, the fan started rattling so it is about to fail. This air cleaner has a meeting with a dumpster in the near future. For comparison purposes, my downstairs game and TV room, I have an old Idylis air cleaner and it pulls so much dust out of the air it amazes me. I have to vacuum or replace the carbon filter every month or two just so air can get into the HEPA filter. Bottom line is if you have someone smoking, or cooking up a storm, this product might be for you. If you are looking for dust control. Forget about it. BTW, I own an Instant Pressure Cooker and that product is fantastic.
