Strong eucalyptus scent that I would not want to put on my cat's skin

I noticed a STRONG EUCALYPTUS VAPOR, so before using on my cat, I tested on myself by swabbing a little around my outer ear and I did feel slight burning/discomfort. While I wanted a natural product I decided against squirting it into my cat's ears. It would be like putting Vicks vapo-rub on sensitive skin.
