For a basic floodlight camera with auto detection and internal recording (no monthly fees) this unit is hard to beat for the price. I have one mounted on my garage and it catches everything it needs to in my driveway and walk up. False triggers are not a problem, especially if the sensitivity is set correctly. The recording are saved on a phone for several weeks, depending on driveway traffic, which should be enough for anyone. I especially like the signal feature so if I am away or indoors when someone arrives I get an alert. I normally don't give 5 star reviews (and generally check only 3s and 4s) but this one deserves it based on value and performance.

Very bad customer service and poor quality product

The floodcam failed after just over three months of use. I tried multiple times to get it to work, but I was unable to. I contacted eufy, after being on hold for 20 minutes, I was given the instruction that I had already been following to ppsibly fix the cam. So, no resolution. Then I used the chat option, but someone in overseas (China) responded through text and asked some rediculous questions as I had committed a crime. That person asked me to send the serial number, a video of the issue (I did my best to create a video and shared the file). They also asked me to send them the device log file. Unfortunately, I am unable to do this, because the device is currently uninstalled and I cannot get access to it (the original issue). The representative asked me to send these info and wait for one to two days to hear from them. This is unacceptable. I tried to call eufy five times, but each time the automated massage says, sorry we are busy and hangs up on me. Had I known this is the quality and service I get from them, I would have never spend a penny on their products. The worse customer service (none existent), and poor junk product quality. Don't waste your money on eufy. Its just a headache. By the way, my cam is installed on an exterior wall high up and not easy for me to undo the installation on a tall ladder each time I have to trouble shoot an issue. With Ring, you don't have to undo installation to reconnect your camera, but with eufy their rep told me I had to. Horrible.
