So fun! It's a piece of art and food both at the same time!

I bought this for my husband for Christmas less than a month ago and we are already harvesting from it! The hubby was skeptical and I didn't think he even liked it at first but now he's so excited about his lettuce, it's ridiculous. We just moved to the city, in a high rise condo and I know he misses taking care of a garden. Now he can garden away! I have a hydroponic garden at work and this one is so much better as the light is adjustable - which is a must as the plants grow. Also, you can bring the light down closer to the new pods so they seem to sprout much faster. I love hydroponic gardening and I love this system!

Good, but Longevity leaves something to be desired

Its a pretty good system all in all, the lettuce grows to be patently massive and the turtle quite enjoys the fresh greens. However, some of the grow lights burnt out after maybe a year of use. There does not appear to be any drop in replacements. At least the company has a relatively painless 'contact us' on their website. I'll edit this review if they're able to send a replacement part in a timely manner.
