Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro-Black Black (Open Box)

The Galaxy Buds Pro are the most disappointing purchase I've made in a long time. I have been a long-time user of the original Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds Plus, which are both great and probably the best earbuds I've ever owned. So, when I purchased the Buds Pro, I just assumed that they would be great and I would love them. How wrong I was. Sound-quality wise, the Pros are just as good as the Plus and original Buds... But this doesn't matter if the earbuds aren't comfortable, and thanks to completely perplexing changes to the design, the Pros are some of the most uncomfortable earphones I have ever owned. The original Galaxy Buds and Buds Plus are mostly flat on the interior surface of the bud, with a small curve near the bottom to help fit the tip into your ear canal. Makes perfect sense, and totally comfortable once you choose the right tip and wing size. The Buds Pro, on the other hand, completely do away with the option of replaceable wings, instead changing the entire earbud to a more oblong ellipse shape, and adding a HUGE bump to the interior surface of the earbud. I don't know how Samsung expects people to wear these as shown in the ads and manuals, because it just seems impossible. Regardless of how I insert or adjust them, they are completely uncomfortable and just straight-up hurt to wear. Not only this, but because of the fact that they are just way too big and feel impossible to comfortably seat in your ear, the ANC feature isn't even effective. There's no point in ANC if you can't even get the buds to sit with a good, comfortable seal in your ear. The original Galaxy Buds and Buds Plus were so comfortable that I would often forget that I was even wearing them, but with the Buds Pro I find myself constantly fidgeting with them, trying to adjust them to make them stop hurting, before giving up after about 30 minutes of trying in vain to enjoy them. I just keep going back to my Buds Plus. My main selling point for the Pros was the fact that they are waterproof, while the Buds Plus are only splashproof, but this isn't enough of an advantage to outweigh the extreme discomfort the Pros cause. I will have to look elsewhere for good, comfortable, waterproof earbuds. Samsung totally dropped the ball on this one and it's totally unfathomable to me how anybody could find these comfortable or even usable. Overall, totally disappointing and not worth the money. The sound quality on all Galaxy Buds models is very good, but the original Buds and Buds Plus are undeniably more comfortable and compact than the Pros, so the Pros are just a waste of your money.
