55 Inches of Bliss: SAMSUNG Q70A – My Living Room's New Star
By LindaLBKA on Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2024
I recently welcomed the SAMSUNG 55-Inch Class QLED Q70A Series into my living room, and let me tell you, it's been nothing short of a visual masterpiece. This TV is like the Picasso of home entertainment - a true work of art!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love, Love, Love! From the moment I turned it on, I felt like I was in a quantum leap into TV excellence. The Quantum Processor 4K is like having a personal AI assistant for your eyes. It magically elevates every pixel to 4K perfection, making my old shows look like they've undergone a Hollywood makeover. And the Motion Xcelerator Turbo plus? It's not just a feature; it's a rollercoaster for your eyeballs. Exceptional motion enhancements up to 4K 120Hz - it's like my TV is doing CrossFit for its pixels. Now, let's talk about the Dual LED Backlight - because warm and cool are not just for weather forecasts. They're the dynamic duo of contrast, creating a visual symphony that's both cozy and cool at the same time. But wait, there's more! 100% Color Volume with Quantum Dot – a billion shades of breathtaking color? It's like having a TV that can paint with all the colors of the wind. My eyes have never been so grateful for this burst of color that makes everything pop like a confetti cannon.Quantum HDR? Yes, please! Going beyond regular HDTV is so last season. Now my living room is a visual wonderland, and I'm the proud mayor of Color Town. And then there's the star of the show - Alexa. She's not just built-in; she's practically hosting the party. I now command my TV like a boss. "Alexa, play my favorite show." Boom, it's on. "Alexa, dim the lights." Consider it done. My TV has become the ultimate wingman for my lazy Sunday afternoons. In conclusion, the SAMSUNG 55-Inch Class QLED Q70A Series is not just a TV; it's a visual love affair waiting to happen. The quality is top-notch, the features are out of this world, and Alexa is the cherry on top. If you're serious about upgrading your home entertainment, this TV is your one-way ticket to a visual paradise. Trust me, your eyes will thank you later!

Thanks for nothing, Samsung
By Erik Villoria on Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2022
I will literally never purchase a Samsung product again because of the abhorrent customer service I received, but lets start with the TV itself. This TV is terrible. The "smart features" make it nearly impossible to get the actual picture you want, trying to do everything automatically, when really it just messes with your devices. The specs boast 120hz 4k, but trying to get a playstation to actually output 4k was a nightmare, which took a lot of researching which led to really just disabling all the "smart features" you can find and tricking it into accepting the right resolution, but you can forget about the refresh rate. A note for the skeptical: I'm using all hdcp 2.1 compliant cables and everything you need to make sure of, I know what I'm doing, the TV does not.The apps frequently crash, probably because there are inherent memory issues with the TV's software. It will disconnect from the wifi and log out of services randomly, forcing you to do a hard restart of the tv (not just turning it off and back on again) then log back into everything using this cumbersome remote with no buttons you would expect from a standard remote. Very tedious. If the TV itself hadn't wasted enough of my time, Samsung support definitely doubled down. A spider somehow managed to crawl inside the TV and get between the backlight and the LCD, where it died, and there is now a permanent spider blocking my image. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN. A decent manufacturer would have this sealed, and this would not be possible. Of course, the only way to remove said spider would be to take it apart. Anyone online (it has happened to other people) will tell you that the manufacturer should cover this if it is still under warranty, which mine is, because again proper construction would never allow this type of thing to happen. When I contacted samsung was when the real pain began. First, I couldn't register the TV. The website kept telling me the serial number I entered in was invalid, despite it being perfectly valid and verified by multiple support people afterwards. I checked the entry meticulously, so much like the TV software, website broken. Then support people wasted my time for hours while I got transferred around to different departments, because apparently none of them thought it was their responsibility. A couple of line transfers, given a different number to call, told that this was something specifically to be handled by chat support (which of course didn't work until being told by additional support that I needed to use a different browser [than chrome?!?!]), only for chat support to give me yet another phone number, and so on... To add insult to injury, every one of these people were rude, all the while I was calm, polite, and patient, while they audibly just dgaf.I finally was able to get to a form where I could schedule a technician to come to my house. I picked one of the available dates, got an email 30 minutes later saying that date was no good and they moved it to a different day, with not even a vague suggestion of what time. Still, I was patient. After 300 reminder emails and texts about my appointment finally the day came and I got a call where the support person just says "Calling from samsung to let you know that your service window is between 4 and 6:30". All that I could get in was "4 to 6:30?" before they said "Thank you" and HUNG UP. With no point of contact I waited around, and a couple of guys showed up late, and when I opened the door they said "samsung?" and walked in right past me... I had to insert myself to show them what the problem was, which was the only interaction I had with them. They basically ignored me while they talked to each other and waited on hold, then sent a couple pictures, and then turned around and said "sorry, we can't do anything" and just started walking away...WTFI am appalled at the conduct of every samsung representative I delt with throughout this experience. Seriously, unbelievable. If you have any self-respect, don't subject yourself to their BS.
