Thinking outside the box, I used this on the OUTSIDE of my cabinets : ) Enjoying the results!

I bought the Dahlia Black Shelf Liners 2 -10 ft rolls pack but used it for a different purpose and I love the results. Instead of putting them inside my kitchen cupboards, I put them on the outside panels after I repainted my cabinets white and wanted some fun pattern for the inset panels. My kitchen is a small old apt kitchen, mainly black and white and after looking through many fabric swatches online at a fabric site, I happened upon these shelf liners on Amazon and I liked the idea of a thick fabric that is washable, and I thought this bold dahlia pattern could look both contemporary fun, and also yet fit the retro look of my kitchen (bldg built in 1928). Very happy with the results and I liked using this thick fabric like material. I could see building black frames and using this for a asian/deco feel room screen panels as well. So adding my pictures and review just in case it inspires others as it did me for other uses too. I hung these using the small 3m command strips and the fabric is thick enough that you don't see any tape lines behind the fabric as I might have if I used thinner cotton panels or other fabric. PS Comments for their actual meant use, I would recommend this fabric much more than contact paper for instance as shelf liners. It has a dense fabric feel so its a nice cushion like material which will hide shelf imperfections which contact paper is too thin and will show when pressed down. Also you can use 3m strips to secure it a bit to the shelving with easy removal for washing when they get dusty or change out, without worry of the adhesive mess left behind by contact paper. I hope they expand the range of designs and colors. : )

Cloth Liners....not carefree, but Pretty Pattern
By Trend on Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2016
. It's like a thicker handi wipe. It wasn't what I thought it would be. Note the product description. This is cloth. It not as durable as vinyl shelf liners that you wipe clean. Those liners can last for years. That's what I thought I was purchasing. I wanted the liners to keep our shelves protected from the messes we make. I kept this because I didn't feel like returning it, but this will require periodic cleaning . You get 2 rolls; 12" width, 20' in length(total). If lining all kitchen shelves and under the countertop drawers, you will need more than one set of these. I was able to line 3 full size cabinet shelves. 4 under the countertop drawers , and 2 full length refrigerator shelves and 1 short shelf, and the little shelves inside the door. I had a small amount left. I use as a drying mat. UPDATE: They don't wash well. They lose some vibrancy, even when hand washing. If putting in the dryer, they will shrink. If wanting to line shelves that hold dishes, glasses, bowl, etc...this will hold up well, with little maintenance. It can also be used as a drying mat for glasses or silverware One benefit, it will dry quickly...quicker than those drying mats with the sponge sewn inside.. . The pattern is as vibrant as it looks. It's cheerful looking. Warm and inviting. The reverse is is a very small red and white diamond print pattern. It can be use on either side.
