Rock Space AX1800 smart wifi router

Follow-up to my follow-up. Don't bother asking about firmware upgrades. Contacted tech support, they can't tell you where to find it or check what is the current version. Follow-up on my last review. I had to downgrade my last review due to it constantly dropping connections. I'll be listening to music or viewing the different devices connected to my WIFI network when suddenly connections are lost. To recover I had to reboot the router each time. Sorry to say I disconnected it and reinstalled my old router. The pain is I wrestled with it too long and past my return window to get my money back. It's back to looking for a new router. Any suggestions will be welcomed. I tried to give it a better rating. I bought it because it supports WiFi6 and it was cheap but it's 5g distance is terrible. Almost all my 5g compatible devices couldn't see the signal (yes i have both set to the high strength). The 2.4 is great, much further than my old router. The throughput is also better. Easy to setup, it's interface is browser only and very simplistic, nothing fancy and no app. Can't say anything about the support since i haven't had to contact them yet. Also, it does have an option to do upgrades but manually and there is nothing on their site where you can check for the latest version. My old router checked automatically. I'll keep using it for awhile but may return it due to the poor 5g signal strength.
