This product came right on time. It was a Christmas present and was well received. The unit was set quickly with a little confusion in the directions. Plants are growing great and it has been really cool watching everything grow. Unfortunately the timer has crapped out and so it needs to be turned off and on when being used. Luckily we don’t need it as someone turns it on in the am and off at night. I have not contacted the seller about the problem so don’t know how they would respond but really don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it now. We have started harvesting leaves off the lettuce and spinach already. I would recommend it if you don’t have one. So we have had it for a year now and have used it to start seedlings for my summer garden as well as lettuce for fall and spring. A couple of months ago I started some perennial flowers and they are doing great and have a good start for next year. Figured out the timer issue, someone in the house kept turning it off at night and so it needed to be turned back on in the morning. We have spoken to that person and now everything is fine. Clean it as needed and add fertilizer every two weeks. Good to go! Still recommend

Garbage

In the beginning this QYO hydrophobics unit worked flawlessly, and after three months of use when I extended the UV light all the way up, I start noticing glitches in the light and within a short period of time the light would completely go out, and then you hear that long the beep sound coming from the unit and when you start moving that light slightly this way or that way, then the light flickers and comes on and goes off again so I disconnected the unit I pulled the light part out and I noticed corrosion at the bottom of that light plug. Now this unit is supposed to contain water and plants so one of my think that this is waterproofed especially where the electric parts go and for some strange reason my unit seems to corrode and then short out. I went back on Amazon and traced my order. There’s nothing there that allows me to contact Amazon or the manufacturer and see if I can get some kind of support. Now I have to look for their website or some thing to help me communicate with them. I even tried the QR code and their email and that was of no help. Although in the beginning this unit seemed very promising now after owning it for a few months and using it, I would say the quality control is absolutely horrible and the methods that they allow you to reach them for warranty purposes is nonexistent. Buyer beware that’s all I can say.
