This stuff is awesome!!! I've used it on large spools of thread to keep the thread in place, and it works great! I've used it to wrap around cords, and again, it works great! This "tape" sticks to itself when necessary, but is very easy to remove, and it doesn't leave any residue. And the best part. . . .it's reusable!!!! This has so many uses around the house. Buy it; you won't be disappointed!!!!

didn't hold for my project

it's strong, depending on what you need it for. Didn't work for my project - was trying to get a metal frame to stick to the ceiling. In spite of cleaning everything first & pressing it more than the required time, it fell away from the ceiling. I suppose it would work okay on flat surfaces
