SAUCONY MEN'S GUIDE 14 (Open Box)

First these run narrow. I've been a medium my whole life but had to order a wide width. This cuts down your color options a lot.... That said, the wide is quite comfortable. Now the odd thing. Went for a walk this morning after a rainstorm. Pavement was wet. No standing water, just damp. I was walking for just a couple minutes when I notched the color of the shoes were changing starting at the toe because the shoe was absorbing water. Walked for an hour and the entire shoe was wet, along with my socks and feet. Please, see the picture. The toe has virtually no sole under it. Fabric upper sucks up water. Pretty poor design. So, bottom line, this is an okay shoe if you get the right size/width but limited to use indoors or on dry pavement.
