Reviews online speak of lesser quality when it comes to the ignition series, but mine isn't bad at all. Perfectly fine for a beginner like me. I had to raise the neck pickup quite a bit but honestly the bass needs a peo setup. The bass came with roundwound strings which I have also replaced with flatwound as they should be. Absolute beauty of a bass.

Beware of shipping damage

The guitar is a faithful reproduction of the classic. It produces a good tone with minimal set-up effort. The highlight of the purchase is the sound quality for the money, the lowlight is the minimal packing material used to ship a fragile guitar. It may be "earth friendly" but its certainly not shipping quality.
