PAXCESS Pool Cleaner Blue/White

Finally after months I opened the box and put the suction vac together. Started working great. I wen't inside for a few min and came out. Unit was hung up on the bottom step and wouldn't move. Started again a few times, and put the unit in different areas to start. Always ended up at the steps and hung up. Never climbed the steps just hung up on the bottom step when transitioning from pool bottom. Tried everything. Different lengths of hose: Too short doesn't reach a lot of the pool. Too long and still hangs up. Different placement of weight doesn't help. Different amounts of suction from skimmer along with the unit which is on the cleaner line doesn't help. Oh, and the supplied connector just loosely attaches to cleaner suction line and comes off easily. Not a solid connection. I'm not saying this product doesn't work along the bottom, but it does pull out of the cleaner port, and it does hang up on the bottom step. Basically, it does not function as advertised as a pool vacuum for the entire pool. Product simply is poorly designed.
