Lian Li UNI Fan SL140 RGB x2 140mm (Open Box)

I have owned seven of these Unifan SL 140 fans now as part of a water cooled build I put together in Fall 2021 (I also have six SL 120s in a different build, and have had similar results). After running these fans for a little over a year, I'm trying to send them all back for RMA. Her is what I have learned: The good: These fans are an amazing idea with a great design. They are crazy easy to install and look amazing. They are not the quietest fans I've ever used, but they are close. You will marvel at how nice they look when you finish your build. The bad: - One of the bearings / motors failed within the first 6 months and had to be replaced. - All seven fans now have dead blue LEDs. (The first dead LEDs appeared 6 weeks after install.) This makes my light blue color scheme look a sickly green now. In the photos attached I have the light blue (R:0,G:255,B255) and pure blue (R:0,G:0,B:255) shown. The fan in the lower right of the photo is the newest with only one dead LED. Notice the color difference in the light blue photo, and how many dead LEDs there are in the pure blue photo. This is after only one year of use. - I have contacted Lian Li about RMA replacement for the fans. Their customer service was shutdown over the holidays so I had to wait 2 months to even contact them, and now it has been 2 weeks without a response. In my experience this is typical for their customer service: slow and unresponsive. TL;DR: I am unlikely to ever use Lian Li fans again as so far I have a 100% failure rate for the 13 Lian Li fans I own. Their customer service is also garbage. The fans are pretty for the first month until the LEDs start failing.
