Great for long haired dog!

Finally found a brush that works for my long haired pyrenees mix. I didn't think this would work when I first got it, but it does remove excess hair without pulling. A lot of other brushes just scrape at the top of my dog's hair it's so thick, but this reaches down enough so he's looking groomed and not shaggy.

Not very ergonomically comfortable to use. And my dog doesn't care for it much, either. I bought this more as a backup for his regular undercoat rake, which he doesn't mind. Because he's an Australian Shepherd, he's brushed daily and has been since he was four months old (He's three and a half now). I think the tines on this one hurt him.
