Perfect Printer For Beginners
By Ricky Olaes on Reviewed in the United States on May 14, 2022
I believe the Ender 3 Max is the perfect balance for cost and features. I wanted to stick with Creality because I’ve heard great things about their printers. Listed below are the key features I needed to have. #1 thing I was looking for was print height. It needs to be able to print tall models. This printer can print up to 13 inches. #2 Assembly is super easy with the Ender 3 Max. It took me about 15 mins to assemble having never owned a 3D printer prior. After I purchase the Ender 3 Pro and it is pretty complicated and took about an hour to assemble. #3 Pause and resume printing. I wanted a printer with the feature that if you run out of Filament it will pause your print until you add more filament. #4 Better power supply. Heats up in seconds. #5 Upgraded parts. Every video that I’ve watched during my research on Ender 3s says to Upgrade to a Metal Extruder and to up grade the springs on the bed. The Ender 3 Max has both already upgraded which was a surprise! #6 Glass bed. Now everyone has their opinion on what bed they prefer. However this glass bed is amazing. It has a textured surface that hold your print firmly. Before trying it I anticipated purchasing a magnetic bed. But I am very happy with this bed so I don’t need to buy another one. #7 Leveling. So initially I wanted the auto leveling feature with my printer but I wanted to save money. Now that I have the printer I still think having the Autolevel would be nice however I can live without it. Leveling isn’t too difficult and once I leveled it once I haven’t had to level it again. It is smarter to level it frequently just to make sure your 3D mode prints right but I’m just lazy. Lol. I love doing 3D prints and the orders have been piling in. I opted to buy a 2nd printer. Smaller and cheaper just for the small things I needed printed. I got the Ender 3 Pro for $236. Bad idea. Very disappointed. It is worth spending the extra money for the Ender 3 Max priced at $350. Overall I love the Ender 3 Max! It has everything I need for a very understandable and affordable price. Printers that have the features I want run well over $600. I am very satisfied with this purchase and will continue to build amazing 3D models with this printer!

OMG, Printer #4
By Gary on Reviewed in the United States on December 17, 2021
SO this was my 4th purchase in a 3D printer and it was recommended to me. Last time i listen to someone. This has to be the worst i got. Software kept failing, auto load and unload of fillament stopped, prints wouldn't stick, hard to get pla into the auto loader without continuous turning of the pla, major shrinkage causeing curling, had to level after each attempt.. wasted lots of fillament and the one that came with it was old and bad and damaged the glass so had to do a major cleanup after trying to use. onto #5
