BELLA Classic Waffle Iron, 4 Square

We bought this waffle iron about 6 months ago. We make waffles maybe once a month. Went to make waffles this morning and this is why we get. Turned the unit on like normal let it heat up the blue ready light was on poured in the batter and closed the lid. A few minutes later the ready light was back on but the waffles weren’t done. Closed the lid and the light was still on waited a few more minutes and it never got better. Unplugged the waffle iron for a bit. It was cool to the touch plugged it back in and the blue ready light instantly came on, it doesn’t get up. I tried looking at the Bella website for warranty information and couldn’t find any. Not feeling to good about any type of warranty.
