A better wine cooler!
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2022
I was looking for a small wine cooler/refrigerator to replace one I had that had expired. I needed a small one to fit in the old space, and this fit the bill. What’s more, it had one feature that I didn’t see elsewhere on wine coolers this size: its door was reversible, something that I needed to have the door open from right to left. Size was right, price was right, and I ordered it, and was told delivery in two days. Well, the wine cooler showed up the next day! Unpacked it, and reversed the door. In doing so, I discovered that the plastic bearing that the door hinges on had shattered somehow before I received it. It was still functional, but I went on a chat with the company and asked if they had this little plastic part so I could replace it. The rep came back after a couple of minutes to say that they did not have any parts for this wine cooler, but would I like to have another to replace it? Three days later, a second wine cooler was on my doorstep. Now that’s customer service. As for the cooler itself, I really like it and it’s a huge improvement over my old one. I like the wood racks in it. For the same width as my old cooler, this one holds one more bottle on each shelf (4) by alternating and reversing the direction of the bottles on each shelf. It’s nice and bright inside. All in all, I really like it. It’s pretty quiet, shuts off when it has cooled down, and looks good. If there is one thing that it doesn’t have that I wish it did, was to monitor the interior temperature as my old cooler did. After setting the temperature, the display would show the interior temperature of each section. Since I was used to it, I purchased an Acurite refrigerator/freezer wireless thermometer that I put the sensors inside each section. Works for me!

Unreliable

Bought one of these in 12/21 for $646. It worked well for about 20 months. Then it stopped cooling. There is only a 1 yr warranty. The company offered me 20% off to buy a new one. I would definitely look elsewhere.

Mostly as advertised

I gave this product a 4 star rating but really I want it to be a 4.75. There are only 2 issues I had with this product of which one is not the manufacture's fault. I attached 2 pictures to show the damage the product had in shipping. The back right corner was dented in. It didn't look good but also didn't affect the quality of the product, it was cosmetic only. A side note; the pull out drawers come inside the unit when shipped and one was knocked loose. I had to unscrew a piece to adjust it back to normal but there was no visible damage or obvious defect with the drawers after I adjusted the out of place drawer. The cooler came packed in plenty of styrofoam and plastic so there shouldn't have been any damage to the unit unless it was handled roughly (improperly) during the shipping process. I do not blame the manufacturer for this as it appears to have happened during shipping which made a few different stops along the way to it's final destination. The box even has some damage on the outside where the dent occurred on the unit. The second issue I had with the product is the dual zone cooling. It is advertised as one zone being independent of the other. I.E. I should be able to set one zone at one temperature and the other zone at a completely different temperature within the product's advertised range. This is not the case. If you try and set one zone more than 5 degrees off of the other zone it will adjust both. In other words you cant have one zone much cooler or warmer than the other one. If you want to store whites at a much colder temp than your reds you can't do that with this cooler. I didn't see that advertised with the product, it only says 41-57 for the top zone and 50-64 for the bottom zone. At first I thought something was wrong with my unit but it says in the manual that in fact you can't set each zone more than 5 degrees off of one another. Other than those 2 issues the product is great. It is fairly quiet and doesn't give off too much residual heat. I live in the Seattle area in an apartment with no AC. During the summer my place reaches the high 80's and the unit has held up great. However, most of the year the weather is not an issue around here so my unit doesn't have to run full blast to keep the desired temperature. If you live in a particularly warm place your unit may have to run more causing more heat and noise. I am just starting out collecting wine and this unit fits my needs. It is a good size and for the price was about 100-200 dollars less than similar sized products. It looks great, not too cheap and the wood drawers are a nice touch. Hopefully it lasts until I need to upgrade.
Love the dual zone capabilities.

I just finished off my garage and wanted to add a beverage cooler but my wife wanted more space for her wine as our wine fridge in the kitchen is smaller. So, we compromised and bought a wine fridge! Luckily for me this has dual zones so I can keep her wine in one section at a warmer temp and my stouts and other specialty beers cooler at 41*. I had to remove some racks to put my beer standing up but it works perfect. Good looking fridge and the lock is a nice touch as well. Definitely worth it IMO.
Can’t regulate temperature

What a great cooler! So quiet we barely even notice it, and we have it placed by our couch in the living room! The temperature settings seem to work great with the dual settings. It was a bit tricky to place all our bottles but managed to figure it out. No more cooked wine for us!
Save your money

Top rack only fits very slim bottles of white wine. The lower racks barely fit anything other than the slimmest of red wine bottles. The handle for the front door does not attach properly. Customer service from manufacturer is lacking, and not helpful at all. I tried to return the item but the manufacturer has basically told me the handle should fit the door no problem, and regular sized wine bottles should fit (paraphrasing a bit). Now I am forced to somehow make this work and I've basically lost $400. Save your money and get something else. Amazon should not carry this product or anything from this manufacturer if it wants to see its loyal customers happy.
Almost there. Still like my purchase. Great shelves!

Seems like a decent fridge. Time will ultimately tell for actual component quality. I will say my primary irritation is the split temperature control forces the hottest temperatures on the bottom of the fridge. That doesn't make any sense! Hot air rises, which means the fridge isn't really split temperature OR the current design causes the compressor to run harder because hot air rises into the upper "cold" compartment. The 4 degrees thing is a little buggy too. Could be better.

The wine fridge seems to work fine. Disappointed that there is some damage to the door frame, even though no package damage and it was well protected. Part of a new kitchen addition, so it is noticable.
