Keychron K10 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard (Open Box)

I bought this brand based on some reviews I had seen on Reddit. I was looking for a mechanical keyboard with bluetooth as I like to put my feet up while at work and having the bluetooth connection would be nice so there's no wire to deal with any longer. The keyboard came nicely packaged and felt nice out of the box but then that's where the love affair ended. The bluetooth connection on this thing is AWFUL. The pamphlet claims a range of 10 meters with line of sight but my laptop is maybe 3 feet from me with NOTHING in the way and this thing would simply NOT allow you to type without lagging - in some case it would not type at all for long stretches. I tried turning off the sleep mode function on it and that actually made it even worse! It would KIND of work when i had it sitting in my keyboard tray on the desk but if I attempted to place it in my lap and type while I was kicked back? It would literally not recognize any input whatsoever - despite being only about 3 feet away from the laptop. If I can connect headphones and wander a 100 feet away without losing a bluetooth signal there should be zero issues with maintaining a connection only 3 feet away! I'll be giddily dropping off this thing at UPS later today and getting my money back. This will be my first and last foray into Keychron for any keyboards I may buy.
