Nice offset pipe wrench

Needed a cheap pipe wrench and this did the trick. Seems like amazon makes everything. It is solid and heavy and helps you reach certain angles haed to reach with a regular pipe wrench. But you dont need a regular one and can just use this one also.

Good materials, poor design

This wrench is huge! The offset design sounds attractive for those tight "situations" under a sink, but with this long handle, I am not sure if it will fit anywhere. While the individual parts are made of cast iron and are well made, the design implies that some parts are designed to be reused in a variety of wrench sizes and do not, really, fit tightly. As a result, the wrench has at least 1/4" play or even more. It opens up to 2.5" wide, but the jaws are not that long (1.5"). So, I am afraid it will not be as handy as I thought.
