Apple Watch Series 6 (Open Box)

I purchased the refurbished Apple Watch Series 6 (refurbished) and I must say this watch looks brand spanking new. If it hadn’t shown up in a box that was not the original Apple packaging I never would have known it was refurbished. It just arrived today but so far it’s amazing and works great… let’s hope nothing changes. As for now, I HIGHLY recommend it!!! **Less than a week later** I’m bummed, I seem to be having some kind of allergic reaction because my wrist began to get very red and irritated… I had to stop wearing it. Unfortunately, the Apple Watch is a device that is apart of the ecosystem that I won’t get to experience. ***After the watch was returned*** One of the things I love about Amazon is how easy the return process is… I’ve returned hundreds of dollars worth of products and have never had an issue because I never take advantage of the ease of an Amazon return… we even used Amazon for our baby shower registry and after the baby was born (our first child) we had to return SOOOO MUCH stuff and never had a single issue with any returns… always easy and stress free. Apparently Amazon views a $140 refurbished Apple Watch as an extremely valuable device and after 15 years of returns that have never been a problem they don’t trust me. Not only did I not receive my return after the item was returned as I usually do but on top of that they’ve received the watch and need to “determine that the device is in the same condition it was in when it was shipped out and that it has all the parts…” By the time I get these funds released to my bank it will have been over 2 weeks since the item was returned. Lesson learned Amazon, I will be very cautious regarding what I purchase from Amazon that way I don’t have to wait so long for my refund. After 15 years of being a devoted customer I will be doing the majority of my shopping elsewhere even if it’s a little more expensive. One thing I can’t stand is when a corporation begins treating their loyal customers like they’re criminals. Had I purchased this from any other retailer the return would have been processed immediately. I’m extremely disappointed in Amazon. Be careful purchasing an Apple Watch from them because god forbid you need to return it you’ll be treated like a potential scammer.
