Nourison Essentials Area Rug, 4' x 6'

I bought this rug for a seasonal cottage. It is perfect. I did secure the corners down with double sided carpet tape. Great rug!! My dog ran into the house and right to the carpet before I could clean his muddy paws. I took a little bit of dish soap and water and removed the muddy paw prints with ease.

So far so good I guess. Purchase this for my brother. He has a pet rabbit who follows him everywhere but was frustrated because it refuses to walk on uncarpeted flooring. So when my brother would leave the living room the rabbit was frustrated because it could not follow him across the uncarpeted hallway to another room. I sent him this carpet and he put it down and said the rabbit was very content because now it could follow him across the hall to other rooms. Aside from this I have not received an update as to anything about the rugs such as whether it wears well and retains its color, stays in place, etc.

I absolutely love the color of this rug. It’s lovely and bright exactly what I wanted. I initially bought an 8 x 11 which fit perfectly under my dining room table and chairs as I have an open plan area I wanted the same rug a little larger for my seating area and my TV area so I ordered a 9 x 12. The smaller rug came rolled. The larger rug came folded, the first 9x12 one was damaged and had a stain because it was folded in the packaging ripped they replaced it. I explained that the fold lines were also a concern. I received a replacement again folded and it just doesn’t sit right now. My have my dining arealooks perfect and my seating area doesn’t, I feel like because of all the fold lines and because it was folded the only place this rug can sit is under a bed t where it doesn’t show a lot. I will give it a few weeks to see if it will lie down but at this moment, it just doesn’t look good because of the creases and fold . I wish it had come rolled up like the smaller rug. The only other option may be to have it steamed to remove the full lines that defeats the purpose of sticking to the budget that I had to replace two rugs.

I purchased this rug to put in my game room by a couch and recliner. I purchased the cream in color and just love it! It came rolled up, which was a bit concerning, but once I took off the plastic it flattened out perfectly. It was ready to put down and put in place. It is of a nice texture, is soft, and is very well-made. I am quite impressed and have a feeling that I will have this rug for a very long time.

It is very nice for the price. Big enough size, I don’t slip on the rug at all. It’s not a super soft rug though. You get what you pay for! But it’s super nice for the price

Not cut square, so the two sides don’t lineup to the edges of the room. Buckles and doesn’t lie flat, which has created a trip hazard. Love the color, look just like the pictures and I thought it was going to flatten out, but it never did . It’s also a little thinner than I expected, which would’ve been OK if it didn’t have all those other issues.

I love the gray blue color. I had another one for the last couple years in gray that was larger and used it in the kitchen. The rug is incredibly durable and easy to clean. This new one is the exact same thing, I just wanted something smaller and to add some color to my white/gray kitchen. It takes just a bit to flatten. You do need an anti slip pad and with one, the rug does not move. The pads are not expensive. I was able to sell the larger gray one! It has lots of life left in it.

I was so scared when I got the package because it was so small and lightweight. It’s thin and low pile but that’s what I was looking for in a high traffic area. It takes some time to work the folds out but it looks and feels nice. I did not need a rug pad because all sides are weighted by furniture but I would think you might need one if you have a smaller size unweighted by heavy furniture. Perfect for defining our living area from our kitchen and dining room areas. I was between an 8’ or a 10’ because our previous rentable rug was 8x10. I’m glad I went with the 10’. Definitely opens up our living room area for more walkability and our cat already loves it.
