One Controller for All My Devices – Works Perfectly!
By Michael on Reviewed in the United States on June 23, 2025
I'm really impressed with the Xbox Wireless Controller (2025). The Carbon Black design looks sleek and feels great to hold. What I love most is how easily it connects to everything—my Xbox, Windows PC, Android phone, and even my Fire TV Stick. No lag, no hassle. It’s super responsive and works great for both casual and competitive gaming. Definitely worth it if you want one controller for all your devices!

Microsoft, Please Do Better...
By Spyder on Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2025
TL;DR The design looks stunning. It would be an excellent controller, but is doomed to develop stick drift. Mine developed it within a week, your mileage may vary. The Xbox Series X/S controller is probably my favorite controller ever. Sure, it doesn't have as many bells and whistles compared to the PS5 or PS4 controllers, but that's fine with me. It's simple, very ergonomic, and aesthetically pleasing in my opinion. I wish my thoughts on this product could end there, but it's sadly not that simple. I'm sure everyone is aware by now of the dreaded stick drift issue, as it plagues almost every controller from each major manufacturer. I bought this knowing that it will inevitably have some issue down the line, but to develop stick drift literally within the week of purchase is insane. This is my 5th Series X/S controller, and I won't even take into account how many Xbox One controllers I've been through. I don't mind buying these things repeatedly for the sake of collecting them, but to keep buying them just because they always fail on me and for often the same reason, is just depressing at this point. I know I can resort to third-party alternatives, but there is just a certain quality to the official product that I don't know if it's been matched yet, and I shouldn't have to try out and possibly return other products just to find out. Maybe this issue is less common if you're more of a casual user, or if you play less fast-paced games, but this problem is inexcusable regardless of what kind of user you are. I know the technology exists to make these controllers more reliable, but companies refuse time after time to implement them. I know the only way to resolve this is if everyone stops buying them, but I know that is unlikely as most probably feel the same way I do about this product compared to alternatives. Sorry about this being more of a rant than a review, but something needs to said about this as it's been an issue for far too long.
