Xbox Core Wireless Controller + USB-C Cable

I must admit, I ordered this controller to replace my blue Xbox S Controller that I got for Christmas with the console that my parents bought for me. It lasted pretty long but the covers on the thumbsticks came completely off, battery case ended up breaking, etc. Old age.So I bought this one as a replacement. I was initially just going to buy this just for some PC games that I was gonna do Coop sessions locally for. Now that I built my current PC, and its hooked up to my TV, I can't comfortably use a keyboard unless I SPECIFICALLY need to.So I didn't bother touching the controller at all, until around recently 2 - 3 weeks before the date of this review (March 24th 2025) I always unplugged the controller and wrapped the USB-C cable around it and placed it in my drawer after every use. Thats when 3 days ago, it developed some form of stick drift. I cleaned up the thumbsticks and did a bunch of other things to try to get the drift to dip, but nothing works. It has gotten worse overtime.Regardless, may replace it but I loved upgrading from the original controller to this one, the texture on the plastic in regards to the Thumbsticks and the Triggers was a nice touch. Did it's job but not sure if it was due for such an early issue despite being taken outta the box a few weeks ago.
