Pretty perfect!
By Colbert Fan on Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2020
Just got it today, easy to assemble and use, made a batch of carrot apple juice right away (after cleaning all the parts and assembling) that everyone (even the kids!) LOVED! I am not a patient person and I manage to unpack it, read the directions, wash dry and assemble it in 10 minutes and had the first batch of juice 5 min later. It's adorable and cute, beautiful color, tiny footprint to leave on counter but worked hard. I used 1 apple & 2 carrots in the first batch, then made another with two apples and four carrots. It was not a big deal to me to cut up the produce, it still has a decent size feed tube. Clean up was also fast and pretty easy and much better than the other kind of juicers I used to use with the mesh basket. It wasn't SUPER quiet but was not all that loud and it has been several years since I used a juice or so I can't quite recall how loud my past ones were anyway but this wasn't something that bothered me and I am fairly sensitive to loud noises. I have used the other kind of juicers in the past and I would say the pulp left over from this one (auger type) was much drier. The pump comes out one side and goes into a cup and there was no liquid in it at all, no need for any kind of plastic bag etc. If you garden this would probably be a great addition to your compost pile. There was also hardly any foam at all in the juice. Really excited to try other combinations and see if my love for this little machine lasts. Right now I'm definitely a huge fan. If you are interested in juicing at all get this one! The price point is super good, and it's perfect for starting out trying an auger type juicer (supposed to be healthier) before investing hundreds of dollars in a huge one...and I have to be honest I'm not sure I would ever want or need a huge one, this little guy seems perfect for my needs which are making juice for me daily, and occasionally the rest of the family. Part of the daunting thing with juicing is looking at a big complicated piece of equipment that you know you will have to clean at the end and figure out how to store it or have something huge on your counter. Neither of those is an issue with this one. A++++

Dash Juicer is impossible to assemble for use
By Peter J. Schulte on Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2021
I'll leave the original review below. We've had this for about six weeks and we've been unable to force the auger into the locking mechanism more than half of the time. We used Amazon answers and got a helpful reply, but even that strategy is not reliable. My wife wants to make juice everyday after work. You have to assemble the juicer and the auger is used to lock the moving parts together. Wow she gets so frustrated! You can't force it in far enough to make it lock. Unlocked, it won't power on. Of course I offer to help and I keep in mind the instructions from the Amazon user. My success rate is about 50%. If I have a hard time, my wife says, "Just forget it." She puts the disassembled juicer parts back into the cabinet. Now that we have had it for six weeks, it is past the return eligible date. I hope that the seller will respond and make this right. We're out a hundred bucks and unable to make juice when we want to. _______________________________ My wife bought this and I was there for its first use. She had washed it earlier and I watched her put it together. This is self-evident and easy to do. I was visiting on the phone with a relative while I watched. She had chopped bitter melon, carrot and cucumber. It did a great job of extracting the pulp. She said that she may substitute or add celery to adjust the flavor to her liking. What I saw was a very thin stream of juice, by "thin" I don't mean weak, I mean not viscous. That's called juice! A lot of pulp went into the other container. I was still on the phone while watching her clean it at the sink. It was easy. Basically, she will be juicing for one. She believes -- and she's not alone in this -- that the bitter melon juice lowers her blood sugar. It was lower this week after drinking bitter melon tea, but I'm getting off the subject. We expect it to last well, with her light use of it. Before buying I looked for numbers like wattage and RPM's and could not find anything like that. No matter. It has plenty of power to do the job quickly and efficiently. The price is right. A person could pay hundreds of dollars for a juicer. This one costs less than a hundred. The BEST PART is the small footprint. Given that every other aspect is just fine, the small footprint makes this DASH Extractor a very happy purchase for us.
