I decided to try out the Certified Refurbished Ring Video Doorbell Wired, and after using it for a while, I can confidently say it’s a great option, especially for the price. Easy Installation: Installation was pretty straightforward. I used my existing doorbell wiring, which made the process even quicker. I connected the doorbell to the Ring app with no issues, and I had everything set up in under 20 minutes. Video Quality: The 1080p video is sharp and clear. Daytime footage looks fantastic, and while the night vision works well, it can be a bit grainy in low-light conditions. Overall, it serves its purpose well. Audio & Communication: The two-way audio works pretty clearly, which is great for talking to visitors. The microphone and speaker quality is decent, though not perfect. But for most interactions, it's perfectly fine. Motion Detection: The motion detection is quite sensitive. I can customize the detection zones to focus on specific areas, which is awesome. However, I’ve noticed a few occasional delays in notifications, but it's not a major issue. Wi-Fi Connectivity: Wi-Fi connectivity is generally good, but like most smart devices, there can be occasional drops, especially if the router is far from the doorbell. Chime Compatibility: One thing I noticed is that, since this is the wired version, it doesn’t trigger traditional mechanical doorbell chimes. You’ll need a Ring Chime or a compatible Alexa device to hear the alerts inside the house. Refurbished Quality: The doorbell arrived in perfect condition and works like new. I haven’t had any issues so far, though I know some people have mentioned connectivity issues or malfunctioning features with Ring’s refurbished products. Conclusion: The Certified Refurbished Ring Video Doorbell Wired is a solid choice if you’re looking for a basic, reliable smart doorbell at a more affordable price. It performs well for home security tasks and is a great option if you don’t need all the bells and whistles. While it does have some limitations like not working with traditional doorbell chimes, overall, it’s a great product.

I bought this to replace another ring door bell that was stuck in an update cycle. That one was supplied by Ring because the other one was defective. I bought this one after going back and forth with Ring about their defective product. Ring did not honor the warranty and offered me 20 percent off a new one. I bought this one from Amazon. Turns out this “ring DOORBELL camera” doesn’t actually ring your existing door bell like all the other ones. I bought another ring because I had just renewed a year subscription, turns out the subscriptions do not transfer and you need to start a new subscription for this product. The description did not say that it is not compatible with existing door chimes. RING has turned into a terrible company that does not back its products and make you jump through hoops hoping you give up and just buy another one of their crappy products. If you have issues they will make you take pictures with a multimeter, and go through redundant steps over and over again only to tell you they it is defective but they won’t cover it. My advise is go with another product line stay away from any RING product.
