Noticeable difference after hooking up

Having google WiFi for so long, I was kicking myself for not getting Orbi sooner. Signal strength is awesome. The ease of setup was smooth. I love it

Troublemaker

This has been flakey since the day I got it. But I'm a techie, the one the family goes to with tech questions. I've set up AI mesh, flashed software, set up QoS, VPNs, dedicated IPs to security cameras, everything. I was just looking for more speed to capitalize on my new 1gig fiber connection. When it worked, it was great, but it was never stable and consistent. It's out with As urion now, but I got random reboots, random purple disconnected lights, lost satellites, broken streaming, dropped clients in the same room! I removed nodes to see if i was getting congestion (1 upstairs 1 downstairs), ran an ethernet wire to see if the 5ghz backbone was just not penetrating my 1800 ft plaster house, and nothing ever got better. Then Netgear force-punches us with a software update that breaks our admin access for over a month. But no support since this is a refurb. But followed the instructions in the rather awesome netgear community and factory reset the setup two different ways, and flashed known good software, no luck. patiently waited for new software which showed up not long ago, hoping that would clean up the mess, and again no luck. it's like the antennas and amps are just burned out by the time the refurb got to me. i was willing to work with it for speed it could get me, but it only got worse over time. Now it's up to asur ion to decide what to do with it. It was never worth the cost. My $50 clearance t p li nk deco w24 00 is streaming fine, not dropping my cameras, and is only missing dynamic IP uploads, at a measly 100mbps
