It is definitely NOT good for swimming

I bought this watch about 3 years ago, yes it has been a while but it's apple right, supposed to "last"I went to the springs over the weekend and went swimming, water depth was about 3 feet at most, I swam for about 10 mins since the water was cold. The watch started to try and call emergencies, I tried stopping the call but the buttons were not responding (yes the water feature was on and yes I tried turning it off), I tried turning it off and it wouldn't let me. After about a minute of fighting with the watch, the screen went black, no amount of trying to reset it or anything worked to bring it back to life, now it just shows the apple logo every now and then and the screen goes black again. According to the description the watch has a water rating of 50 meters.So I am left with, a pink bracelet with a black screen...Also I don't quite understand how it can track your sleep if the battery doesn't last more than 24 hours, so if you sleep with your watch on, you have to charge it in the morning, assuming you wore it the day before.I liked the watch while it lasted, I just didn't expect that it would break when I follow instructions for swimming with it.
