Amazon Basics Touchscreen Deadbolt Lock (Open Box)

Update 03/25/2023... In addition to the cheap feel and undersized handle return spring, the 4×AA batteries only last about a month. I've used Duracell, Energizer, Amazon, Rayovac and even $38 lithium batteries but it's all the same. The cost of battery replacement is going to quickly overtake the savings from a better quality lock. I have a Schlage lock on my garage and I think I've replaced the 9v battery three times in the last 6 years. I no longer recommend this product as an economical option. Original review... This was easy to install and so far it functions quite well with the exception of the interior side handle doesn't always return all the way to the full horizontal position. It seems like the spring is slightly undersized. The feel of the handle, and the entire unit for that matter, is lightweight and not as durable as some other high-end products. They keyless entry at this price point makes it a great value for the money. The keypad itself takes a bit more pressure with a finger than I'd prefer but maybe it only functions this way in the cold, I'll update this aspect in six months when it's warmer in my region. Overall, I would purchase it again.
