Great range finder

Easy to use right out of the box. Great optics and holds starry in 30 mph winds. If you are thinking about getting one of these make sure and get the slope function.

Sensitivity issues

The Bushnell V5 rangefinder with slope gave quite a few false reads when comparing my rangefinder to my partners' older Bushnell rangefinder. I believe this rangefinder maybe too sensitive to lock to flag sticks and focuses on other thinks near the flagstick like sand traps by the green or big trees behind the flagstick. Accuracy is very important when playing a golf course one is not familiar with. I need to use the Bushnell V5 w/slope more before being too critical of this rangefinder. Overall, the Bushnell V5 rangefinder with slope is compact and easy to use. The slope feature is very helpful provided yardage is accuracy -- something I'm trying to become more comfortable with.
