Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC 128GB (Unlocked) (International Version) (Open Box)

I fell for the technical specs and got a Poco phone. Dual sim slots is especially attractive for me since I thought I'd be able to combine my work number and my personal number and only carry one device. It works for that too! Amazing performance and great features BUT the screen is what I'd have to call fragile. In less than three months the cracks started along the edges. I've never seen these sort of cracks before. As if the very edge of the glass was crumbling? Now one is creeping across the face. This is with the second "OtterBox" style case in addition to trying the silicone case that it came with. Case options are a bit more limited than something as popular as an iPhone. By comparison, I also carry a Samsung Galaxy S8 daily. The case for it is an off brand with similar "OtterBox" style qualities. Had it for a few years and it has been dropped many times. Still no cracks and the glass is even more exposed. Actually using the Galaxy to take pictures of the Poco. Maybe the Poco X3 is defective but I'm really disappointed but will take my lumps for taking a chance on Poco.
