Perfect for Small Plants and Seed Starting
By Neon on Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2025
With the plant food this product came with the germination and growth rate was superb, it’s super easy to set up, however there is a cable that attaches the tank to the light that may confuse some users. I’ve had them in use for several months and they function perfectly for seed starting and even long term growth for smaller plants.

Feel ripped off. Was:Gimmick, but good proof of concept
By Customer on Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2022
Update: I'm glad I didn't get conned out of any more money by this company. I was skeptical, but enjoying the tiny bits of basil this was producing. Dill didn't matter so I cut it back a couple of times and it just kept growing, cool. I put some collard in the 3rd defective spot. It came up nice. I've been adding nutrients when prompted and keeping the water up daily. Suddenly the dill withers. Pull it out ad roots have dissolved and it has mold. Basil starts to brown. It's done that it contact with the lights but I thought that was related to that. I think now that they got root bound and the little fountain couldn't circulate the water enough. A lot of money for a tiny amounts of herb. At whole paycheck prices I could have bought a dozen packs of herbs or I could throw some seeds in a pot with similar results. Don't waste your money unless it's a kids project for learning not to get ripped off. Was:Cool as a proof of concept, ridiculous as delivered. Comes with genovese basil (very happy) dill (OK), curley parsley, (meh). Basil and dill marked as tall, they come up quick, parsley pod obviously older, never comes up I threw some other seeds in it, sprouted in days. Basil is tenable because you can easily top it to keep it in 12 inches. Dills base after 6 weeks is going to be above the light and its already interfering with the light to the basil. 12 inch max height is useless. Space between plants is way too small on all designs. There is no way those systems are grown like that. Grown individually and put together for photo. Cool to learn about hydroponics. I never realized the roots were just sitting in water, but way too pricey for what it's going to deliver.
