Edit after a few months sometimes it doesn’t turn on. Screen backlight illuminates however it does nothing until unplugged and restarted. Concerning with short warranty. Item works as described. Of course it will not filter minerals like asbestos and heavy metals etc. But it will filter and if you dont mind the fan kicking up whatever else into the air, this makes a nice air purifier. I've only used it about a month, nonstop. It is fairly quiet for how much air it blows but it is not quiet, anything above 4/10 will start to drown out other noises in the space. The air cooling feature works well enough to not need AC in low 90f degree weather if you have it running. Osculation works for me, unlike other reviewers. If anything breaks I will update as always. I am little afraid of the short warranty...does not exhume confidence. Another negative is there is NO way to disable bluetooth (or wifi). They run full strength the whole time. Unlike Wifi, Bluetooth is only used initially to connect the device to the 'app' allowing it to be controlled over wifi and report statistics over time (which is curious but probably irrelevant for most users). This wastes energy and creates needless electrosmog...This alone is -1 star. Make bluetooth run for 10 minutes after powering up, no need to have it run for 12 hours all day and night. Sleep mode is useless if you use it to cool your room; there is seemingly no other way to dim the screen. This item took forever to get delivered. Was a huge PITA to put it nicely. I wish I bought one new at Costco for $360. I thought it would be delivered when I returned from that Costco trip, I was wrong it took several days more, tracking did not even tell me it was >1000 miles until hours after the deadline...I would have bought one then. Family and friends visiting... awful smell from landlord's neglect... wish this was not delivered a week after the latest shipping estimate! I suppose that its Amazon's fault...Not positive on the fulfillment cycle. it took a very long time to ship, much later then would be expected to make the eta.
