Dont listen to the people complaining about the magnets
By J. M. Bucko on Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2022
So this is the 5th case that I have used on my tablet and it is going to be prob the last. 3 of those cases had the magnets in the cover of the case and ALL THREE HAD THE SAME ISSUE AS THIS ONE so don't listen to the reviews about the magnets cause they not tried other cases. I did want to point out that all my cases were brand name cases. What might work is the cheap Chinese crap cases with weak magnets. What happens is that since the tablet is so thin the magnetic field goes threw the tablet. Your best bet would be to remove the magnets from the case (which if i do i will post pictures) or find a way to make a shield that is grounded to break the field. (you can also turn of the magnet to awake and sleep function) Now the reason this will be my last case is case of the material used and the build quality. How snug the plastic holds the tablet is very impressive. The material has an very comforting surface and is ridged but soft. Tired of the cases saying TPU silicone as if they are the same thing. One is carbon based and the other is silica based way different. I will also say this case has the best kickstand out of all the cases i have tried. Very minimal and unobtrusive. The Hinge is the unsung hero though. It is very durable and extends almost the full length of the tablet. The other cover cases the hinge was smaller and thus rotated a couple degrees and flexed to much. This case would get 5 stars if not for the magnet issue or if the magnets where easily removeable. the sleep/awake function is junk anyway

Side buttons don't move. Defective or standard?
By Daniel Schubert on Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2025
I'm reading all of the criticisms of the magnets, but I don't see my issue. The buttons along the side of the case don't move - and therefore don't move the buttons on the side of the tablet. It's like they're just for show. Did I get a defective case? Or are they all like that? Other than that (and assuming the magnet issue isn't a deal breaker), I absolutely love the rest of it. Light but sturdy, without the needless bulk of most tablet cases I'm seeing. Looks great and I like the lens cover too.
