It's too cheao
By Teddygram_man on Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2025
Hammer lasted from june of 22 - February of 25. Head separated and is bending. I am a professional and it gets used but with a combination of other hammers and it has been the first hammer I killed in my career. Hammer was comfortable. It is indeed red and weighs its posted weight.

I love this hammer

I use this to replace one of my antivibe hammers I purchased from Mac. I love this hammer even more than the mac hammer I used to own and would highly recommend this to anyone. The weight durability and comfort is fantastic. The balance is good and I have yet to break it or create any problems on it.
Pound away!

This is not my favorite ballpeen but (Mac) but for the money it is a great hammer to go to the field in the shop truck.
Great Deadblow For Automotive Work

This is a great deadblow hammer for automotive work. Having read the reviews, I was leery; having purchased it and used it, I am happy to report the following: 1. It IS in fact a deadblow hammer, whether you can hear lead shot moving around inside of it or not. It won't feel like a plastic deadblow hammer because that steel is going to want to jump when it hits steel, but it does in fact work to mitigate that. 2. The metal face is in fact quite sturdy; note the photo of mine, after having used it to beat GM steering knuckles and a factory staked lower ball joint like a rented mule. (Successfully.) 3. This hammer is meant for STRIKING METAL OBJECTS, such as will be found in automotive work, or other machinery that needs to be separated, etc. No, it is not awesome for hitting nails, as that is not what it is made for. Although you could do that if you had to. 4. I fix our vehicles at home. You can spend 70 - 100.00 or more for this type of deadblow hammer with a famous name, or for a little more than a fancy coffee like the city folks buy, own this. Boys, if you can replace the front end on a truck with this hammer, you know it works fine. Maybe some folks are getting a poor quality specimen; no idea what QC is like in that factory. Mine is just fine.
WORKS GREAT!

This is a hammer that should last many years with reasonable care. Built very well with good workmanship. I would buy again if ever needed. NOW......"UPDATE"...... I have had the hammer for 6 months. In one word "EXCELLENT". Highly recommend.

Hits like a hammer

I couldn't see spending an arm and a leg for a plastic hammer. This one hits hard enough and seems to be just fine. It may not give me a hand massage, or win any toolbox measuring contests, but it works for me.
Head weighted closer to 40oz + & hammer swings as such. Decent quality & price though.

Face is too soft

The steel is too soft. After a couple of weeks of use the face of the hammer is all marred up. Properly hardened steel won't do that. I'm afraid a chunk is going to fly off one day. Now I only use it for light tapping.
