(NEW) Skullcandy Hesh ANC Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones

I am sharing a home office, and realized I want noise cancelling headphones to block out the sound of my SO on calls as much as possible. I thought I would try some cheaper options, but I’ve realized for what I need, <200 dollar headphones just won’t cut it. I tested these out, and they seemed fine. They cancelled the light background noise of cars going by, for example (though my windows already cut a lot of that). They were charged out of the box. They fit over my ears. Audio quality seemed good. However, the noise cancellation was not amazing. Especially conversation/ speaking noise was only a little muffled. I ended up doing some research on a site that measures noise cancellation of different headphones and these had a very middle of the road score (lower than some at this price point). I also started to feel them pressing on my jaw, beneath my ears. This is specific to me, but I’ve realized some headphones are too “long” for me and it can get uncomfortable. If you want headphones to cancel out light or “constant” mild background noise, I think these will do the trick. I think bringing them on a plane, traveling, studying in a library etc they will work totally fine. I’ve realized they’re not going to work for me, though, and it’s worth it for me to buy something more expensive instead. Returning.
