Great quality from a great company

I purchase a lot of stuff from this company, so I knew that it would be good. It is seamless to connect to any computer. It has never given me any issues. Some people say that it turns off on its own after being idle, but I actually think that's a good thing because I don't like to charge it every single day. It actually goes a very long time without needing a charge which is also a plus. The only thing that I would say is that the keys are kind of loud. There are some people who like the loud keys, but I'm not really a big fan. People in game tell me that they can hear me typing and they've even said the name of this keyboard because the sound is so familiar of the loud keys being struck. Overall, I must say that it is a fantastic keyboard and would definitely continue buying products from this company because they are such great quality

It has quality control flaws that will make it impossible to use for a lot of people

In their infinite wisdom, they decided to add some sort of capacitive sensor to their volume knob, and it CONSTANTLY gets triggered for no apparent reason, which could have been not too big of a deal, except for the fact that they have a HUD that pops up inside your OS, and when it starts doing this, a apart of your screen will just be obscured being the stupid razer popup window. That's not all. This is the ONLY keyboard I've ever used in my life that has improperly debounced keys. What does this mean? It means putting a key one time will not always get you one push registered in your OS. Sometimes it registers two or more. Sometimes it locks into some loop and just pretends that I'm holding the button down until I press something else. This is seriously EE 101 stuff here, and while this appears to be on the software side, this is still the most absolute basic stuff that no company of Razer's size should be getting wrong. And that's not all. The volume knob is a quadrature rotary encoder which they very obviously don't know how to interface with, because it ONLY works if you turn it VERY slowly. If you turn it a normal speed, it won't register your input, and sometimes will even register the OPPOSITE of the input you give it. This is also EE 101 type stuff that a company of Razer's size should not be getting wrong. I had (still have) a WASD mechanical keyboard with cherry clears that has never had any of these issues. I had a few other random keyboards before that, and none of those had any issues either. Keyboards are ancient technology. Making a keyboard is easy. That's why you rarely hear of keyboard failures. But Razer managed to pull that incredible achievement off. Bravo. This is the third time I've given Razer a shot. Never again. I tried their mice two times and both died within a year. Coming from logitech that lasted over a decade (my mx518 still works to this day), I can't even begin to understand how they're in business. It's crazy. They should stop funding twitch streamers and put that money into better R&D so they get the literal keyboard 101 figured out.
