These socks are what other people say. Kinda tight in the top but there is cushion on the bottom. The tightness were loosen up with west and wash. Better than regular thin suit socks.

The socks are very tight around my calves, to the point of discomfort. That is not the case with other Timberland socks I've purchased. I like the brand, just not this particular product.
