I purchased this for my husband as a Christmas gift. It was not a twinkle in his eye on his wish list. However, I stumbled across it and thought it would be pretty cool. His office lacks sufficient heat, often balancing around 60 degrees, so he's always cold (wearing layers of Columbia clothing to keep warm). Also, during winter months, (we live in the mountains), his hands get very cold driving to work. Since he opened it on Christmas morning, he has used it every day. He loves it so much he tells coworkers about it. Though I don't know if it's lead to more purchases, he has expressed more than a handful of times how much he loves it. If you're on the fence about buying it, I say bite the bullet. It's inexpensive and a very thoughtful gift for someone who complains about being cold all the time. They will absolutely love it!
