OK I love my tablet, unfortunately the case I bought for when I originally got it off of Amazon here when putting it on I think cracked the screen in my tablet I'm legally blind so I didn't notice it right away but a couple weeks later I was outside with it in the the sunlight and I noticed this hairline crack going through the screen I never did anything to it I treated this thing like a little baby and I thought with grilla glass that I didn't have to worry about it as much I mean I've had Samsung phones that I'm never cracked a screen on any phone that I've ever owned in years but this was a serious disappointment It's not affecting me usefulness of it somehow or another it has no effect on any of the digitizing or any of the working of the device otherwise I would rate this device Top notch But the thing that really irritated me was neither Amazon Amazon with dealing with the manufacturer the case that are the case that was the offender in this situation or Samsung themselves would do anything about getting this repaired for me Samsung told me that it would cost me upwards of $325 to have the screen fixed and would take about a month for me to send it to them get it repaired and get it back and I use this every day it is my basic and the only communication with the outside world except for my phone and being legally blind it is also all my accessibility options I do my banking on here I do my ordering of things on here that I need to bring in my household et cetera And it is the only screen that I can put like 5" away from my face and actually see I'm also I am also currently using it to write a novel and I really don't want to have to dump everything on it off onto a card send it away not be able to write for a month and then try to get it all back on the tablet when it comes back to me but I can't afford the $325 to have it repaired when I just paid almost $700 for the thing however I did go on eBay and find a digitized screen you can purchase for like $35 I could take it to a local repair person and have it fixed I would imagine and that would be my go to for that situation when it does get to a point where it does affect anything which it doesn't at all I is all um I will probably do. On the basic workings of the item oh my God this thing's great the screen is great even with my bad vision I can tell a video is good quality the sound is pretty decent and hooks up with my Bluetooth headset very well all the accessibility options that I use like talk back and speech to text work fantastically and link and I am pretty d*** happy with it all in all in all otherwise. To rap things up the only thing is I'm just disappointed about the screen I literally got a neoprene sleeve for in a case in the case somehow or another being on the thing cracked the screen you would think that the gorilla glass would not allow that to happen it's just plastic it's just plastic but it does have one little cut out for the camera at the top that leans right on the glass and I think when it got put on there the pressure are putting the case on snapping it on damaged the glass but it shouldn't have been able to do that gorilla glass should have stood up to more pressure than that And I didn't put any major pressure on it I haven't dropped it even once I haven't bumped it against anything and even when I take it around places it is inside this case which is a military speck styleAnd inside the sleeve is neoprene. Just before warning if you do break your glass it's going to be upwards of $325 to get it fixed by Samsung and it's not included in the warranty and broken glass voids the warranty according to them another stuff which makes no sense to me But I am not dissuading anybody from buying this particular item it is fantastic it's fantastic and I'm very pleased with it and I did give it a high rating 5 starsI would not say it's the equipment's fault that it is the way it is the way it is but I do say that it's Amazon and Samsung's customer service for not getting the repair taken care of because of the faulty case and his case and possibly faulty glass

Received my item unsealed. Returned it the same day it was delivered. Amazon customer service 10/10.

I can't give a fair review of the product as my judgement was clouded by the quality and presentation of my delivery. In short, I was sent a used item when I ordered new (with payment installments). Amazon prompted need for signature, took time off to meet driver for signature, had a mini panic attack when app alerted the package was signed and given to resident. It was not. It was placed on the side of my residence (the usual spot). The Prime box was sealed, however, the actual tablet box was not (there are two clear stickers on the bottom that need to be broken so access to the tablet is possible). It, the Samsung box, was filthy and the box was dented. The box is cosmetic, so, not an issue. Wrong. I open the box (again, seal already tampered with) to see the tablet in its temporary cover. Picked it up and moved it aside, didn't open yet. Slot where s-pen was supposed to fit/be was empty aside for a SNAPPED and BROKEN off tip. S-pen itself found clinging behind tablet. Functional Bluetooth settings but unable to be used as stylus. Okay. At least it's not lost. Charger was in box haphazardly with unknown debris in box. I didn't check to see if it was functional. I was frustrated and anxious to assess tablet's quality. Moved to tablet in temporary cover. Seal looks heat gunned shut. A reseal, not original. Broke seal, removed tablet. Little to no cosmetic issues or scratches. Turned on. Interface smooth. Tablet at 13%. Used personal charger to charge to 100% then unhooked. Complete. Connected it to my wi-fi. Boom! Dynamite! Tablet is vibrant, crisp, the sound and video quality 10/10, noticed unable to use finger as stylus for Samsung installed apps, tablet did not recognize I wanted to use finger instead of stylus to doodle as s-pen was inoperable (not an issue on Galaxy S7+ FE), while exploring factory given apps, the tablet would occasionally overheat (unsure if it's this specific tablet or for Galaxy in general), tablet was propped on a stand with no heavy programs running, just factory apps, no reason for that degree of heat. Brightness on low, with vivid mode off, battery drained quickly from 100% to 60% after about an hour using factory apps, no YouTube yet. Not sure if tablet or Galaxy product in general. YouTube video quality was clear, crisp, true to life and quality of original uploader. Way different from the S7+ FE. Loved it. Camera was nice and clear. Not grainy and void of color like the S7+ FE (I returned it for this reason and lack of fingerprint scanner). Bought tablet for work and illustration projects. Overall, I called Amazon customer service, they were great in getting me an immediate and full refund on the tablet and insurance I purchased for the item as it was no longer in stock. I called their tech service around 11am. The representative immediately consulted their supervisor. Their was no "haggling" on methods for keeping or reordering the product, just immediate action. My experience was biased due to how I received the product, however, I would 100% purchase this tablet over the others in the S7 series. It's worth it. However, I would hesitate purchasing such an expensive item from Amazon (personal opinion). This was my first negative experience, with a media product, with Amazon. First and last. I will purchase again at another retailer, where I can hold the item physically in my hands from store to my home.
