Very easy to use, great cooking speed. Yo can easily control it. It is light weigjted, easy to clean, easy to store. It saves time. I think it is a good value for the money.

I’m pretty underwhelmed by this burner. I bought it to give induction a fry before making the (expensive) leap to a full induction stove — based on this burner alone, I’ll stick with a normal electric flattop. The burner has several presets to choose from: book, stir fry, milk, etc. but no standard like “low, medium, high” type of thing like a normal burner. On the stir fry setting you can adjust the temperature but it’s in degrees and I’m not really convinced there’s any difference if you adjust the temperature. Stir fry pretty much burns everything. The boil water function is painfully slow. I put a pan on the induction burner and a pan on my regular stove, side by side, and similarly sized pots ox boiled water. The induction burner actually took longer than my normal stove to boil the water. Small bubbles appeared in the induction pot first, but the normal stove reached a full rolling boil faster. The induction burner also shuts off and then turns back on repeatedly in the boil mode, so actually cooking food in boiling water takes a bit longer as well. So, overall, I’m just not impressed. Maybe I chose the wrong burner to sample the delights of induction cooking, or maybe it’s really just not as miraculous as the retail price tags for those ranges imply that it must be. Either way, I’m sticking with a normal flat top electric range.
