Amazing cutter, I've had the Cameo 4 for around 3-5 years and have had no issues with excellent results. I just ordered this cutter now and its essentially just the longer version of the Cameo 4, its easy to use and is a great machine. The price is also great. The machine retails around $400 if im not wrong and i bought it when it was on discount for 290 dollars which is just an amazing price. What I will say for new people getting into die cutting who are looking to buy this machine is to do all the research possible before buying, a lot of the bad reviews on here are from people who either use low quality vinyl, or don't know how to use the software or the machine at all. For those similar to me who are upgrading or looking to get a larger machine for larger projects that came from a previous cameo, Its definitely worth the purchase. The only bad thing i can think of is the fact that its a bit loud but other then that everything is perfect.

Waste of $400+ better off with the cheaper ones
By Willow on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2024
I've had less problems with a $200 24in vinyl cutter. It starts fine but anything over 12in and it starts overlapping the cuts. Redid the same design twice and some how 2 words became one. 🤬 Also it doesnt cut bigger than 24in × 24in in a single go. I do not recommend by any means. I'm going back to the cheap one I had. This is unbelievable and waste of money not only the machine but the vinyl it's ruined.

De verdad la única cosa que puede limitar el uso del Cameo 4 pro es la falta de fantasia de quien lo usa...

Absolutely love my cameo four Pro. It is a little loud, but the performance and speed. The software and the cut quality is perfect

Tracking issues are frustrating but solvable. I am happy with it nonetheless

I've had issues with this machine losing its place being used as a plotter on heavyweight bristol. What solved it was placing the machine on a 4'x4' table with no obstacles and making sure you pay attention to how the machine keeps its place. Don't forget to read the instructions and make sure you are using it as recommended.

This thing is a monster, but it's just as easy to use as their much smaller Portrait model and can do so much more. Definitely worth the purchase.

Exceed my expectations and is going to take my woodworking business to the next level with what I’m going to be able to make with vinyl now
Would be nice if I could use it

I purchased this on the Prime Day special. I’ve been eyeing the Cameo 4 Pro for quite some time now. I’ve owned a Cricut for years, but have been wanting to make the switch to Silhouette as I’ve worked with their software and it’s much better than Cricut’s. I also wanted to be able to make bigger projects. However the box arrived damaged. There was also no seal on box and the tabs were pulled out as if the box had been opened. As I fully opened the box, thankfully the machine appeared fine. However, as I lifted the machine out of the box, I heard a rattling noise and out fell a small screw. I have contacted Silhouette. I received two emails saying they were escalating the issue, but have now not heard anything since 7/21. I am hesitant to try turning on the machine as I don’t want to further any problems if this screw was supposed to be holding in anything important. I’m quite disappointed about the lack of communication and the fact that I can not currently use the product I purchased. I had very high hopes for switching to Silhouette, but now I’m not so sure. I’ll probably end up returning the machine if I don’t get any further response from Silhouette. What a disappointment!
rolls stray when cutting longer than 4 feet

If I load rolls of vinyl (12 inch or 24 inch), the vinyl strays a bit while cutting longer than 4 feet. Otherwise, I love my upgrade from a Portrait 3! Favorite features are the cutter on the back for vinyl rolls and the accommodation of any size mat. I love that I don't have to use the 24x24 mat for small cuts. ABSOLUTELY recommend the Business edition of Silhouette software.
