No pain relief in sight
By Phyllida Ludd on Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2022
The good: the pad puffed up to the advertised 4 inches with a little bit of help (rubbing the compressed areas briskly with your hands helps remove leftover creases if they won't puff by themselves) and didn't have a chemical smell. I didn't detect any smell at all, not even the advertised green tea smell (don't know if that's a good thing for some people but I didn't care about it). The bad: I have severe osteoarthritis in my hips, bulging discs, and sciatica. I really hoped this would bring me some pain relief, but it didn't help at all. It didn't make anything worse, but after a six week trial I'm back to sleeping in my recliner most or all of the night because that's the only way I'll get any rest. It's a very expensive product for the poor therapeutic qualities it provides and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone looking for pain relief. I think it would be good for someone looking to extend the life of a bad mattress, but for anyone with low fitness, prepare to struggle to get out of bed in the morning because you'll sink right into this thing and it doesn't want to let you go!
