Working but ...

Thank goodness mine is working but you have to sync manually by holding the button down(10 secs.) on the cameras until it flashes amber to add them. Had to turn off night vision for better images using the built-in spotlight. It can be a hit or miss if you buy refurbished or maybe just incorrect configuration. Sometimes app will not find the hub/camera if you have VPN on your mobile device. It has to be turned off. Update: Bought an endurance 256GB Micro SD card, you can now view the videos from the app if you are at home. Set to save on the card and got rid of my subscription. You will not get the fancier options like activity zones and intelligent recognition but still works fine. It will probably hold thousands of hours of recording before it gets full then will replace the oldest. Downside is you can only access the recordings on the SD card if you are on the same wireless network but the cloud recording still works and is good for seven days for free. Overall a very good investment.

Monthly Fee's and Non Existent Support

I have been using Arlo for a long time, and honestly, I have to give up. Even though it supports local recording, mine will no longer just record for the short intervals of motion but now 24/7. This came about after they recently updated their app and gave a 3 month free trial of the subscription. Since the trial ended, I no longer have control over the recording or motion so my MicroSD card is getting overloaded and the cameras on solar power are being drained daily. The AI features never worked all that well, but for a single camera it is 10$/month, for unlimited it is 20$, add on fee's for additional features and it exceeds 28$/month. Also, and this is the real reason why I cannot support them anymore, you are no longer able to get support, even basic, without paying a fee or signing up a subscription, you only have access to their KBs.
