Good Portable Devices for basic use

As expected i love this surface go 2 for basic computing. The portability, build quality, the feels, The size just nice. Performance as expected. But the battery life is ... i don't know not an expert. but if this surface go 2 can go up to 10 -12 hrs maximum usage its gonna be a awesome. Oh another thing sometimes this surface go 2 can suddenly freeze. Just switch the power button and it goes back to normal. Still i love this device. Thanks.

Unable to view my console PC due to asking for password, but no password was ever used

I purchased this to be able to work on projects remotely, however after initially setting up the Surface Go it sees my console PC on my network, but will not allow me to view any files because it is asking for a password which it has never had. This is mostly useless to me since I am not able to access my work on my PC. Unless this can be fixed I will be returning it.
