Great OEM Case for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
By Jeff J on Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2020
Protect your new phone and show it off at the same time. Yes, the case is made by Samsung, so it's more expensive, but it also fits perfectly and looks great. The grippy, rubber-ribbed sides are ideal for such a large phone and are stiff and not flimsy when swiping the curved phone edges. The rubber case buttons completely cover the phone buttons, which I prefer, keeping them free from dust and grime. The back is clear from top to bottom, so there's no black frame around the camera module, which actually looks nicer than other colored, framed cases. The small dotted scoring on the clear TPU adds a classy touch. Yes, the back attracts and shows fingerprints, but so would the naked backs of the Mystic Black or Mystic White Note 20 Ultras. The trade-off is that the back shows off the nice finish of those colors, rather than hiding them as a matte-finished case would. Wireless charging is not affected whatsoever, and taking it on and off is also easy. For now, this will be the daily driver case that I'll be rocking (to quote Your Boy Floss), so I'll let you know how it holds up over time!

Form > Function

I was super excited to receive this case as I was waiting for a Samsung “quality” product to protect my expensive phone. The plastic back looked great paired with my DBrand skin (sticker) to show off a picture of phone’s internals but that was pretty much the only thing I liked about it. The case itself is slippery even with the textured sides and the screen lacks any real protection. My non-name brand case was able to protect the edge display without being intrusive, why can’t a Samsung one do the same for their Flagship Samsung phone? The phone fell from a height of no more than 3 feet onto tile and this happened. Now I have a $1500 paperweight.
