Not powerful enough.
By Johnny M Baggette on Reviewed in the United States on January 23, 2021
It seems durable, but doesn't charge well at all. Plugged in a small powerband, and 2 cell phones...one iphone and one android...and left to charge in direct sunlight. After 2 hours all 3 devices showed only about 3% increase. Unplugged powerbank and iPhone and then it charged the android just fine, but took 6 hours to completely charge so was unusable all day when I wanted to take photos. Will try again but not very hopeful. Update 4/16/2021: Anker replaced the product and it seems to be working well. I want to complement them on their customer service going above and beyond. I have spent several a lot of money on Anker products and trust them.

Panel didn’t work, highly disappointed with Anker support on this one
By Mark on Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2023
This is a difficult review for me to write because I own over 10 products from Anker, including 2 power banks, multi-chargers, usb-c docks, cables, card readers, etc… Everything I have ever purchased from them has been flawless, EXCEPT this solar panel. For months, I kept trying this panel and having no luck, but I always assumed it was because the sun wasn’t direct enough and/or if I had it inside that somehow the window was affecting the performance. I finally had enough after having this out in Yosemite national park on a day without a single cloud in the sky that was in the low 90’s outside. The sun was direct/hot and all other solar items I had were charging super fast. I left this panel out there connected to a single iPhone with a 3ft cable for over 10 hours, with my iPhone showing the charging icon the entire time. The result was that my phone lost 5%. After contacting Anker support, they offered me a 30% refund. This is well within the year warranty (I’ve only had it for 5 months), but they can’t offer a replacement and would not agree to a full refund, no matter how hard I pushed. This happens to be the first Anker product that I’ve had that’s needed support, but now this has me really nervous to purchase anything from them again. If you get a working product, you’re golden, but if you don’t, it’s likely you’re only going to get a portion of your money back and would have wasted the rest. Are there any reliable brands anymore? Anker, you just broke my heart LOL.
