Delightful and seemingly foolproof way to improve your diet a little.
By TexARC, aka A.Ron Carmichael on Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2020
We've had a six-foot-tall aeroponic vegetable tower for more than a decade and rely on it a LOT for swiss chard, kale, broccoli, lettuces, tomatoes, etc. but lettuces only grow well in the winter due to intense summer heat. The notion of a small one for smaller plants like herbs and delicate lettuces in our air-conditioned kitchen handy for use made it a natural gift for spouse. The downside is that it is a bright light source so it's important to consider that in deciding "where to put it". We use only Reverse Osmosis water for all aeroponics because of extremely hard tap water. It is really very nearly hands-off to maintain, fed on schedule and water kept topped off, it does everything else with built-in timers and water pump. Already bought another for a Christmas gift. If I was doing it again for us I would opt for the larger one but the one I bought was on an Amazon special price at the time. Don't expect it to be something that gives you a full meal every day. But it can contribute to meals several days a week and it is best if you DO keep harvesting limited amounts so the plants can respond easily to the loss of leaves. And it makes a great nibble-opportunity for "drive-by grazing" anytime.

Vegetation was once and done! Total waste. It was so bad, that the vendor blocked the customers from providing negative reviews on this product.

Unexpected

I didn't think I would like this product as much as I do. It was very easy to put everything together. I love that I can reach into this little garden and pull off fresh herbs for meals that I'm making. I have had this product for a few months now and its easy to maintain. When it needs water or nutrients a light starts blinking and you just simply put them in. I've mostly grown herbs, but I cant wait to grow some tomatoes in it. I would definitely recommend this product.
Arrived fast and intact.

Love it for lettuce, trying herbs next
By M. Chase - Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2021
I'm on my 4th round of growing - two lettuce, one tomato, and now herbs. It works great, I love it! I thought the tomatoes were sort of tasteless, but that could have been the variety, and anyway my bird loved them. I lost the little insert that goes over the hole where you add water, so I contacted Aerogarden directly, and they cheerfully and promptly sent out a replacement, no charge. That's great customer service!
I BOUGHT TWO

Got a screaming deal on this during Cyber Week. I have a total black thumb and my salad mix literally grows TOO fast. I was so impressed I bought another for herbs and have the same “problem” If I could, I would have one of these in every room! The light seems to borrow people but we just keep it in the places we don’t sleep so haven’t had issues
A bit disappointed

Great concept but given the amount I paid for this, disappointed. I wish extra seeds were included as only three pods began to grow after 4 weeks, growth has been very slow. Three pods have no growth, I followed all directions and continue to follow them which were clear and simple but nothing yet, seems seeds are missing because there’s no sign of growth on these, no roots… I keep my AeroGarden in a partial sunlit room and allow the auto lights to turn on all day.
Nice indoor garden option!

This is a convenient indoor garden. Most everything sprouts and grows as anticipated.
Stopped working after 4 months
By Mardou Fox - Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2021
This worked marvelously for the first four months. It was easy to use, and the lettuce pods that came with the unit grew very quickly and were tasty. Four months in, however, either the lights burned out or the power button stopped working or something else broke. I will say that while it was working it was marvelous. We had wonderful lettuce for salads, and it just kept growing and growing. I was very disappointed to find upon waking one morning that it was no longer functioning and neither I nor my husband could get it to work again. Whether I had a bad unit, or this is a built in problem that hasn't been discovered by the company, I don't know. I am very disappointed. I am undecided about buying another unit (I had stocked up on the seed pods), or to shop around for a different product that will allow me to use the pods.
