Retrospec Pismo Yoga Mat w/Nylon Strap

I spent WEEKS looking for the perfect yoga mat. All I could find were ones with 50/50 reviews, saying they fell apart or were terrible quality. The only decent ones I could find were hundreds of dollars.FINALLY I settled on this one. And I have to say, this yoga mat is amazing- and I'm a pretty critical reviewer, too. After several months of daily use it's still amazing and holding up just fine. It's comfortable on my joints, the design on it is beautiful and perfectly in-tact, and I myself have not caused any rips, imprints or damage to it whatsoever. It goes right back to normal after every use.(I will say my cat, on the other hand, has left a few holes in it thanks to her digging her claws in it a few times. But through normal use if you have CONSIDERATE cats, there would be 0 damage lol)

I have been using this yoga mat daily for about a month and it has held up really well. Its extremely plush and the moon graphic is a cute touch overall worth the price

Once I wiped it down with water and a towel this Matt got nice and sticky. Moons look cool too!

The description when I went to write this review said "nylon strap" but I never got a nylon strap with mine. It could be because I'm writing this review four years later and they've updated the product, but a strap would've been nice for organization/carrying.However, as a yoga mat...works just fine! I liked the moon design and so far it's stayed clean/hasn't flaked yet. I mostly use it on carpet and it stays well so I imagine it would work even better on hardwood. It's thick enough to be comfortable without being bulky too.

I was in need of a new yoga mat and am super pleased with this mat's design, size, thickness, and color — and I really like the shoulder strap that is included. It's the perfect size for crowded yoga classes (not too wide or long), and the thickness seems to be standard, cushioning, and comfortable. I love the green color! The material isn't very absorbant so would recommend adding a yoga towel for those hot yoga classes.

Shipping was quick, great value, thick, great design, seems pretty durable, no smell. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I really loved this yoga mat because it was the perfect thickness and felt grippy for regular and hot yoga. However, I’ve only been using it for ~3 months and chunks of the mat are breaking off and getting all over me and the floor. Disappointed and am going to have to find a new mat.

First impression is it appears to be a decent inexpensive yoga mat. No malodor. Seems cushioned and grippy enough. I used it with my Chirp Wheel and it didn't leave a dent. It doesn't look nearly as nice in real life as it's presented in the product image as the boysenberry color is dull, muted, and depressing like old dusty rose trimmed wallpaper from the '90s. It's unfortunate because I would have chosen the teal color had I known what to expect from boysenberry. I'm sure I could have returned it, but it serves its functional purpose well enough and I'm taking the environmental impact of returning it into consideration. I just wish sellers would do a better job of presenting what their products actually look like. Otherwise, the mat is fine and I would consider purchasing it again in the future (different color) if I'm ever in the market for a new yoga mat.
